Subject: Central beam Inspection

Models Affected: Esqual VM-1 / VM-1C
An owner has reported that the upper end of the main landing gear socket in the central beam was found to have cracked due to fatigue. Inspection of the central beam on all models should be conducted at the earliest possible date and prior to the next flight.
It is recommended that the area is to be inspected at each 100 hour (periodic) inspection.

Action Required if cracks has occured:
The aircraft seats will need to be removed to gain access. It is recommended that the support be welded and an additional support plate be welded between the support rails as indicated in the photo below on both the port and starboard frames.
