Esqual in love

They met and fell in love right away, like the beauty and the beast. And 9 months later...

...a baby Esqual came.

Both aircrafts are from Spain.

Esqual in the air

The Esqual is airborn. The swedish EAA approved it and we are now preforming testflights. Here you can se the Esqual doing a flyby.

The last touch

Here is the Esqual pulled outside for the first time. . Hopefully the Swedish EAA will have the approval finished soon so we can test this beautiful aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with a Kiev prop, wheelpants and fairings.

Within a short time the first ready to fly built Esqual will be getting airborn. We are now just waiting on approval from the swedish authority EAA.

The first fuselage

Here is the fuselage being demolded. It was an exciting event demolding it.

 

After the first inspection everything looks very good.

 

And here is the final result with the firewall and dashboard assambled, with a possible future Esqual pilot in the cockpit.

Demolding of the first wing

Here you can see the first left wing being demolded. Making the wing is one of the most timeconsuming parts of making a kit including the shells, ribbs, inserts and reinforcements. In just a few days the first fuselage will be demolded as well.

The first happy sparepartscustumer António Silveira from Portugal got his spareparts and can now get his airplane flying again.

The first pieces

Here you can see a picture of the very first "Swedish" made carbon pieces for the Esqual VM-1 aircraft. We have just obtained new facilities with a new coatingroom, sandingroom, laminatingroom and computerguided curing room (owen).

 

On this picture you can see the final touch of a lamination process just before it has to placed in the curingroom.
