We are now preforming test flights of the Esqual

We are now preforming testflights. The preliminary flight tests have shown good results. See a small  movie of a take off here. We will post more material later.

We have preformed ground tests of the Esqual

Ground tests of brakes, high speed taxing, tank tests etc have been done.

The tests are going well

We are finished with about 75% of all the tests to be able to complete the certification. Here you can see one of the tests we made to make sure that the horizontal tail and the fuselage was strong enough. Here is the tail loaded with about 1000kg and 2000kg on the front part of the fuselage. The german demands are realy high and you have to have a high quality fuselage to withstand the tests. Some tests who is to be made in flight and flutter test is more ore less what is missing to finish all the tests.

Certification in Germany

We have now applied for certification of the Esqual in germany and have started with the preliminary testing. The certification is calculated to be finished late 2011. Pictures, movies and more information will be published here soon.

Esqual in love

They met and fell in love right away, like the beauty and the beast. And 9 months later...

Both aircrafts are from Spain.

The last touch

The first fuselage

Here is the fuselage being demolded. It was an exciting event demolding it.

After the first inspection everything looks very good.

And here is the final result with the firewall and dashboard assambled, with a possible future Esqual pilot in the cockpit.

Demolding of the first wing

Here you can see the first left wing being demolded. Making the wing is one of the most timeconsuming parts of making a kit including the shells, ribbs, inserts and reinforcements. In just a few days the first fuselage will be demolded as well.

Now we have a lot of spareparts in stock. As we produce all parts ourselfes (even the ones in metal) we can assure you a deliverydate without relying on external manufacturers. Soon we will have a complete list of the parts, for now you can order through E-mail.

The first pieces

Here you can see a picture of the very first "Swedish" made carbon pieces for the Esqual VM-1 aircraft. We have just obtained new facilities with a new coatingroom, sandingroom, laminatingroom and computerguided curing room (owen).

On this picture you can see the final touch of a lamination process just before it has to placed in the curingroom.
